HCS, which started to produce Category 8 Data Cable, became the first manufacturer that received Independent Testing Organization Certificate (Intertek-ETL) in the world
The demand for faster data transmission by both wired and wireless users is increasing each passing day. Many studies conducted show that the need for low cost (copper systems / RJ-45) transmission systems over 10Gbps is increasing day by day.
IEEE 802.3.bq-2016 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T protocols have been built to satisfy this need. Two standards have been set for the data cabling materials necessary for data transmission conforming to these protocols:
1- ANSI/TIA-568-C-2-1 Category 8 was issued on 12 June 2016.
2- IEC 61156-9 Category 8.1 and 8.2 FDIS (Final draft) was issued on February 2016.
Category 8 cabling has been identified up to 2000 MHz frequency for 40GBASE-T protocol, and at 1250 MHz frequency for 25GBASE-T protocol.
HCS has also achieved to rank among the very few manufacturers capable of doing this production in the world, as well as being the first and only Turkish company that produces data cable supporting 40Gbps data transmission up to 2000 MHz which meets the requirements of both Category 8 standards mentioned above.
HCS, which has been leading the way in the sector since 2000 about production of added-value and advanced technology products, has become the pioneering company that has developed Category 8 product family by dint of its deep know-how on cabling and cutting edge technology machine park.
